Alcoholics Anonymous Torrance

In the battle against addiction, relapse prevention becomes the most important task; more important than detox and rehabilitation. The greatest relapse prevention techniques always include building an amazing support system.  Often times ex-addicts turn towards an alcoholics anonymous group. These groups allows like minded individuals to come together and find comfort and confidence in each other. They are able to share their experiences and find striving role models to help better themselves. The South Bay Central Office of Alcoholics Anonymous prides themselves in providing these types of environments to the South Bay community. They reach out to the public and facilitate a helping foundation to the people in need.

The South Bay Central Office of Alcoholics Anonymous is group of men and women who have dedicated their lives to sobriety. They share their experiences, their hopes, and their will with others to aid in solving common issues in people’s lives. The Alcoholics Anonymous group meetings are completely self-funded and requires no membership dues of any sort. They are independent of any organization and stay completely neutral in a political standpoint. They neither endorse nor oppose any cause.  They try to isolate any outside issues and focus on the matter at hand; Continued sobriety.

The South Bay Central Office of AA has been supporting the public since 1978. Their primary purpose is to ensure sobriety in themselves and help others promote sobriety in their lives. Their strong founder, Robert, inspired strong reactions from his peers and sparked life changing thoughts in others. His willingness to help others has inspired many in the community. His unfortunate death a year later shook the office and caused a struggle amongst its contributors. A couple years later, a new Office Manager, Joyce, took over and became the straight shooting arrow for the company. As she continued the community grew larger and the rest has been history.

With quite a few locations, and multiple meetings throughout the week, The South Bay Central Office has a time that can fit anyone’s schedule, allowing people to make it multiple times per week. Meetings range anywhere from early morning to a moderate evening time. They have locations in WIlmington, Hermosa Beach, Gardena, Hawthorne, San Pedro, El Segundo, Rancho Palos Verdes and even Catalina Island. The only requirement to join this community of dedicated individuals is a serious want to be sober. The flexible availability leaves each individual no excuse to not be able to attend any meetings. Feel free to join the community.
