Recovery Center Long Beach

After passing through rehab there are many things that need to be done to continue sobriety. Building the support system, with family friends and other loved ones are very important. Following that, you should fortify your foundation by attending NA / AA meetings and finding a sponsor. NA/ AA meetings are gatherings for recovering addicts who meet regularly for the purpose of collective recovery. They share experiences and help other like minded individuals on the road to sobriety.  The idea of strength in numbers is exercised in these meetings.

The Atlantic Alano Club dedicated themselves to providing any person including the gay, lesbians and trans community a safe place to recover and attend regular recovery meetings, free from drugs or alcohol. Their primary goal is to create a loving, nurturing environment for its members. The Atlantic Alano Club strives to ensure its members opportunities for personal growth and increased community awareness. Their services vary from a 12 step program, to alcohol anonymous and narcotics anonymous meetings. The 12 Steps of Addiction is a free program that guides people through a set of rules and utilizing their faith.

Joining the club has a small fee of $5 to $10, but numerous amenities. The Atlantic Alano Club provides engaging 12-step programs, with its caring group leaders holding the torch. The club contains a board of elected leaders to guide its members to success. The club hosts multiple meetings per day on a daily basis. They also host numerous events, social gatherings and even movie nights. The Atlantic Alano Club’s more recent events include a stunning art show, a hilariously fantastic comedy show and a fun fundraising music festival. The amenities and activities continue to grow as the Atlantic Alano Club’s community base increases.

Drug and Alcohol addiction has been a strong issue for many years and the number of addicts are growing.  Even after rehab the battle against addiction persists throughout reintegration back into the world. Relapse prevention becomes one of the key factors in continued sobriety. Thus it is impervious to have a strong support system. The Atlantic Alano Club and its community of supporting individuals are ready to be that system for you or your loved one. They strive to help ensure your continued sobriety.  With its growing team, the atlantic Alano Club believes its club of caring and devoted individuals can geographically expand leading the Southern California area in equal rights recovery of alcohol and substance abuse.
