Treatment
During the 15-day assessment, Decision Point staff analyzes the psychiatric, medical, nutritional and psychological traits of every individual to determine the best course of treatment and whether Decision Point is the best center for them. Group counseling sessions also are a part of the 15-day assessment. Also available is an “assessment only” option which provides clients with a comprehensive analysis of their conditions and recommendations for treatment.

45-day treatment: During the 45-day treatment, all clients live at Decision Point’s center where professional clinicians and physicians treat their alcohol or drug addiction. While clients stay at Decision Point’s facility, behavioral and holistic therapies are used to free clients from dependence on alcohol or drugs. Triggers for relapse are also identified and guidance is given in the case relapse does occur. Every client can elect to extend his or her stay to 90 days.

90-day long-term addiction treatment: In addition to the services provided during the 45-day treatment, the 90-day treatment program also teaches life skills — personal finance and career advice. The 90-day program also provides a client with a look into the psychological issues that lay beneath his or her addiction. Therapeutic techniques are used to overcome trauma and other issues.
