The Valley Hope Association offers outpatient addiction treatment services at 16 locations in seven southwest states. Arizona’s Valley Hope locations can be found in Chandler and Tempe.

At Valley Hope centers, drug rehab is approached from multiple directions with an unconditional positive regard. Physical, mental, spiritual, and social aspects of addiction are all considered in individualized rehabilitation treatments. Patients are seen as human beings who need treatment for an illness, instead of people with moral deficiencies. To support its patients, Valley Hope provides a loving and caring environment where therapy and healing can take place.

A comprehensive continuum of care is offered at Valley Hope centers based on the needs of each client as well as their ability to pay. Valley Hope treatment puts the onus on the client, empowering them with the responsibility for their recovery. Maintaining dignity is key to the process and Valley Center staff places a great emphasis being direct and honest with every client throughout the addiction recovery process.

Using the 12-step approach to treatment, Valley Hope creates an atmosphere which closely reflects real life, as preparation for real life is essential to maintaining sobriety after leaving rehab. As much as possible, Valley Hope staff weaves outside life into every client’s treatment experience so it is not such a shock to the system when rehab ends. Family members play a key role in recovery and visiting time is encouraged throughout the week.

Every client is given a unique course of treatment, even down to the length of time he or she stays at a Valley Hope facility, which is determined by multiple variables including input from the client. Valley Hope clients are supported by the network of Valley Hope alumni who have gone on to find success and sustained sobriety. This network maintains a presence in the client’s life through social media and through Valley Hope’s Coffee Cup magazine.

An educated staff offers a high level of treatment at Valley Hope centers. Registered nurses and medical doctors are on-site to monitor medications, psychiatric needs or to attend to urgent medical needs.

A contrast to some very luxurious — and expensive — options available, Valley Hope caters to the middle class. Payment plans are available, and Valley Hope staff works closely with insurance companies to make sure covers as much treatment as possible. Valley Hope is a preferred provider listed by many major insurance companies.

Fly to Recovery

While some in recovery prefer to be near to familiar places, friends and family, many find recovery far away from home. Getting away from an area that may create bad feelings or serve as a venue to toxic relationships or dangerous situations can be vital to recovery. To accommodate clients from afar, Valley Hope offers the Fly to Recovery service. No matter where the client is coming from in the U.S., he or she can be flown to a Valley Hope center with airfare simply added to the cost of treatment. Valley Hope coordinates the flight, family involvement and continuing care services once the client leaves treatment.
